English Week 2025, running from 14/5/2025 to 16/5/2025, is dedicated to promoting cultural diversity, inclusivity, and cultural awareness within our vibrant community. This year's event features a rich array of activities, insightful and interactive booths, and workshops designed to celebrate the diverse cultures that enhance the learning environment and make learning fun and engaging. A key highlight is a talk from a lecturer at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, focusing on inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, equipping students with tools to appreciate the rich tapestry of perspectives around them.
Throughout the week, students can explore cultural booths offering immersive experiences, such as traditional henna art and authentic French cuisine, which not only delight the palate but also educate on language influences. Additional activities include a football badge workshop promoting teamwork and creativity, personalized tote bag creation with inspiring quotes, and coffee appreciation workshops that foster informal cultural exchanges. With sessions on Chinese calligraphy highlighting the elegance of this ancient art form, English Week 2025 promises to be a celebration of our community's unique diversity, encouraging students to enhance their cultural awareness, creativity, and connections with peers!
